Merlo's Press and Bean - St. John's

Our lunch visit today was disappointing, especially when compared to our previous experiences.

The food at this restaurant is amazing, with incredibly fresh ingredients, and the service is top-notch, receiving a 5-star rating.

Excellent meal on a Monday night. Menu had a good variety with unexpected asian entrees among standard fare. Seafood chowder was exceptional - hearty, well flavored and steaming hot. Vancouver Panini was outstanding. The cod dinner was also superb - perfectly cooked fish and tasty vegetables. Service was excellent. Easy parking. Highly recommend. I will be a return customer.

Food was great. Josh, our waiter was polite, friendly and quite attentive. Good location, lots of parking, unlike downtown.
