Saltwater - St. John's

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. My girlfriend and I visited recently to celebrate her birthday. I kicked things off with the cod chowder, which was delicious. She opted for the beet dish and absolutely loved it, even though I'm not a fan of beets myself—it certainly looked appealing. For our main courses, I chose the duck and she had the chicken. I can highly recommend both dishes. We also indulged in dessert and tried the trio, which included bread pudding, chocolate torte, and partridgeberry cake. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we definitely plan to return.

It was our first visit while spending time with family. I ordered the Seafood Risotto and I can't stop raving about it! My husband chose the lamb and appreciated that they offered both half and full portion sizes. I'm already looking forward to my next risotto!

I had an incredible experience during my first visit to this restaurant! Both the food and service were excellent. We started with the baked brie scallops, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered the salmon, while my mom and sister chose the special, which featured cod and half a lobster. The atmosphere was charming yet modern, providing a personal touch. We all left feeling satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit!

It's my favourite restaurant in St. John's! I think it's the most under appreciated and underestimated restaurant in the city. Anybody I bring there loves it as much as I do!

The food AND the service is excellent! And it's a reasonable price-point for such quality
