Pillbox Tavern - St Paul

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere had a great vibe. They have good happy hour specials. I ordered the totchos, Korean chicken tacos, and the steak. The steak and totchos were delicious, and the chicken in the tacos was also great. There was one ingredient in the tacos that I didn't personally enjoy, but that's not the restaurant's fault. I would definitely recommend revisiting this place!

Love this little sports bar. It is located in the middle of Wabasha N. Food is good, portions are a bit small, but tasty. Great beer selection. Friendly staff. Pretty decent music on the weekends during the afternoon, which is great! Only reason no 5stars, the Togo orders are skimpy, hardly ever have Togo cutlery or napkins or condiments, and the 20 brunch is lackingquality and selections. Just truth

Chicken salad wrap was divine. People do come up to you on the sidewalk on the patio when you eat. One guy was selling roses, in the restaurant. A light bulb exploded and fell from the ceiling. They do have open garage like doors to the patio, so it hasa wide open feel.

We were looking for a spot to relax before the concert at the Xcel Energy Center and stumbled upon The Pillbox. They had a great selection of food and beer. I tried the deep-fried burger and it was delicious. It's a great place to unwind and hang out. I will definitely come back next time I'm in St. Paul.

This sports bar is pretty good. There are plenty of large TVs and a mix of seating options, including long tables perfect for bigger groups. The service and food were both enjoyable. Conveniently located in the same block as parking, and just a short walk away from the Fitzgerald Theater, making it a great spot if you're heading to a show.
