McNay's White House - St Stephen

Step at top of ramp and cannot get walker into washrooms. Good service. Typical diner food but not as good as the other diner in town, old fashioned diner. Small and not easy to get around.

A no-frills diner serving up modest and unpretentious food so this might be a better choice for breakfast or lunch. Their lobster roll for $15.99 featured mostly minced lobster meat with too much celery and lettuce for my liking. Some bottled beers available.

Nothing pretentious, just good basic grub pleasant service good helpings. Wi-fi if you are bored. Really give it a try.

This place seems to be going downhill...the food quality is mediocre at best and they seem to have a high turnover of staff therefore nobody seems to have any experience or knowledge of the menu or even how to properly serve. So sad to see this but I won't be back anytime soon.

McNay's is the rival to Carman's Diner. It is a bit smaller, and more modest. The food is the same (good) and the prices are about a dollar lower per item. It just depends on your mood which one you choose to go to.
