Eagles Nest At Dinsmore Golf Course

This place is a hidden gem! Located in the Hudson valley, surrounded by beauty!

Went to the nest for the first time for a party. What a great place. Everything thing was awesome...great food great bartenders great drinks great atmosphere. My wife and I will be going back with friends and family.

We obviously came on an off day, Memorial Day, to get a bite to eat. The sign out front said to come on it. We are open . We did. People looked and stared at us (with no servers/bartender acknowlegement nor nearby) making us feel uncomfortable. It resembled an old 1960 's or 1970 's golf course clubhouse where only the handful of members go to hang out after a game of golf. The members were there at the bar, a few at another table. Random tables had place settings while others did not. We slowly turned around and left. It was bizarre. Don 't have a sign out front to come in if you aren 't going to acknowledge customers.

As far as views of the Valley and the Hudson from a Bar/Restaurant...... nothing beats this. Yet, so many people don't even know about it.. Come up at sunset, or before... and sit on the back deck and just get lost in the beauty...:

Had the best time last weekend with good friends at Eagle's Nest lol. Country band and line dancing was soooo much fun ! Owner Jackie was very personable, gracious and very friendly! We definitely would recommend you patron this place! Good food.... nice people!
