Contribuisci feedbackA great night in Hopkins! Dinner with Chef Rob Love On The Rocks was fantastic! A must if you are in Southern Belize! Between the 4 of us we had pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, ribeye steak, tuna and shrimp all cooked for perfection and then kept warm on our rocks during the meal! And beef was very good and tender (if you tried beef in Belize you know) We were also here for a week 5 years ago while we were house hunting, but never had dinner (wow, we really missed out) but we had a fantastic breakfast every morning A great place for dinner or a weekend away!
Wonderful Service amazing menu creative food choices. Great wine selection. We ate two nights here while we were in Hopkins. The Ribeye Steak brilliant, woman enjoyed the local fish, I had pork and shrimp red curry with rice. Delicious soups, 4-course dinner. Must try when in town.
Great service and friendly staff! You can order 4 course meal for a reasonable price. You can say they use good quality ingredients!
Chef Rob made a beautiful 7-course menu, tailored to all special allergies! Would highly recommend going, but you need a party of 7 for the live on the grill experience. The food was incredibly delicious, fresh and so well pared. There were smoked fish to start, cauliflower soup, a delicious tomato and watermelon salad, grilled fish on asparagus, steak, a dragon fruit palate cleaner, and a banana/mango flambé. Superb!
We sat at the Chef's Table. It cost us $69 each. I thought at first it wouldn't be worth it, but I was surprisingly wrong. It was definitely worth the experience. Each dish of the 7 courses was beautiful and delicious. I don't think I would have normally ordered anything he served me, but everyone was amazing! I will be sure to venture out more, at least at this restaurant! You are sitting next to the cooking area, so dress in cool clothes. Chef Rob was very pleasant and would answer all our questions. It was a pleasure to meet him and hear about his story of growing up in the restaurant world.
