I occasionally call the number to check for updates on the voicemail message. When we drive by, we still see a sign that says "coming soon." If there are any updates, could you please reply here? Thank you, we miss you! Service: Dine in.
You were amazing. We hope to see you again soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I never actually had the chance to eat at this restaurant, but my experience trying to locate it and purchase a gift certificate left much to be desired. A few years ago, I wanted to give my brother and his partner a gift certificate to Il Garage for Christmas. Despite hearing good and strange things about the place, I struggled to find it on Beach Boulevard. The confusing parking situation led me to Park Ave instead, which seemed to be somehow connected to Il Garage. After a series of misunderstandings and awkward interactions with the staff, I was finally able to purchase a gift certificate for $100. Unfortunately, both Park Ave and Il Garage are now closed, so my money may have gone to waste. Overall, the experience felt pretentious and outdated in all the wrong ways.
I am not sure why people are reporting this restaurant permanently closed, because it is not. The owner and chef, David Slay has been having renovations done to the restaurant during the pandemic. The restaurant will be reopening very soon. There's a sign outside the restaurant that confirms that. Please stop reporting misinformation.
Overpriced mediocre food. Hope they stay closed forever good riddance.
