Farmers Cafe - Stanwood

We were in the area and decided to try something new for dinner, so we chose the Peasant Café. After looking at the menu, we placed our dinner order. When our food arrived at the table, we were impressed. Everything was absolutely delicious! If we hadn't been so full, we definitely would have ordered dessert.

The staff were fantastic, especially Angela, who was amazing, and the food was simply delicious! The kids, aged 6 to 12, ordered chicken strip meals, and even the pickiest one cleaned their plate and asked for more! Portions were huge! I had the stuffed French toast, which you can see in the picture, and it was honestly the best French toast I’ve ever had in my nearly 50 years of life. My sister ordered a burger that could easily feed three people, and she loved it as well. It’s safe to say we’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I occasionally visit this restaurant for breakfast, and we are always pleased with our experience. I typically order breakfast, and I enjoy it every time. My husband usually opts for the Chili Burger, which he also enjoys. The service is good and quite prompt. Even when the place is busy, we haven't encountered any issues with the service.

After several calls it looked like it was hard to find a place where I could eat here in the Camano/Stanwood area with my food allergies. Had a last effort before she went south and called her here.... oh yes, there are some things we can do for you. So we went. Doesn't look like a lot is connected to a gas station so we were skeptical. I had the daily special Coho Salmon, mixed veg, baked potato. They took care of me in the kitchen. Excellent moist and tasteful with only salt pepper. Husband had the daily special Prime Rib and it was a beautiful thick disc perfectly medium-sized rare. The son had baked the house with ash-browns and eggs. Had a touch too much liquid smoke for its taste, but quite good overall. We'll be back when we get back.

A convenient diner experience. Very enthusiastic staff and services. We arrived for brunch on Sunday and waited 15 minutes which were ok. Steak and eggs were cooked satisfactorily.
