Our first time to eat there. Overall a good experience but for 2 things. We had an 8:45 reservation after noting on the website that the kitchen closed at 9:30. The mgr ? called my cell at 845 as we were walking up to ask if we were coming and that they closed at 9! I found that rude confusing and a bit of a poor start. Also we ordered a bottle of wine that came to the table already opened with the cork sticking out of the top. Certainly makes one suspicious that the wine ordered was replaced with a cheaper variety. Any wine consumer knows that is never proper wine etiquette. Generally being a non-complainer, I did not say anything about it although our out of state friend noticed it and commented about it to the table. All in all the food was good and our waiter was very friendly articulate and knowledgeable about the menu. I will return if given the opportunity but will have my eye on the wine!
Great cocktails and the food was sensational. We all ordered different drinks and they were great. The Commodore chicken was very taste and plenty to eat
First time there and I couldn't have been more impressed. Waiter recommended several cocktails and each was unique and great. Had the bruschetta for an appetizer and it was as good as I've ever had. I had the ribeye and it cooked to perfection. The waiter brought by a bowl of cippino( I'm not sure about the spelling) and it looked great. It's my new favorite place in Starkville. It's not for the college crowd although it's in the Cotton District. Parking may be difficult but it's worth the walk.
Wonderful food and fabulous service! Will definitely be coming back.
