I didn't want to set any type of expectations since I heard good things about the food but also knew I was going to a restaurant that started because of a show. The food: overall delicious. We shared appetizers: lobster risotto, scallops, beef tartare, Caesar Salad. The lobster risotto was my favorite. Texture and flavor were so good. Scallops and beef tartare were also good. They had good flavor and scallops were cooked spot on. Salad was crisp and dressing was nice (a little too dressed for my liking but I like very little dressing in my salads). We all order beef Wellington and it was the best Wellington I have ever had. It lived up to the hype! Now for the star of the night. The sticky toffee pudding! Just order it. It's delicious. It melts in your mouth. Warm, gooey, sweet but not overly sweet. I would go back just for this. Service was nice. Our waiter did a good job. Nothing great but also nothing bad. Ambiance I thought was a little off. From the show it feels like they want guess to have a great experience and dinner. I think food wise it was. Ambiance felt a little cold and just felt like I was eating at a factory restaurant if that makes sense. There was no warmth or life in the restaurant. It seemed like everyone that worked there were going through the motions and just getting people feed to turn the table and get the next group in. Overall I think if you want to taste a great beef Wellington and the best sticky toffee pudding then go to Hell's Kitchen.
I was so excited to experience a Hell 's Kitchen near Ontario, CA. My cousin suggested we go for my birthday. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the servers were wonderful. But the food was so disappointing. Chef Ramsey would have thrown the Blue Kitchen out!!!!!!!!! I ordered the prime sirloin steak medium and the Brussel Sprouts, easy right? The steak was cooked perfectly but it had no seasoning, bland, bland, bland. It was not sliced. There was a big piece of fat on the end of the steak swimming in some unrecognizable sauce. The garnish, some type of mushrooms again no seasoning, salt pepper nothing. I suggest the chef 's at this Hell 's Kitchen location be retrained to Chef Ramsey standards. Let me know when that 's done and I will try the restaurant again.
I was excited to check out our new SoCal HK recently to celebrate a special birthday! Reservations were easily accessible on OpenTable. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and beautiful. Service was exceptional and we were seated at a nice table with perfect view of the line. Unfortunately it is extremely dark inside. I prefer a brighter ambience. The food fell slightly short of the Las Vegas HK we visited in the prior year. The wagyu meatballs were served nearly room temperature which was shocking. I think I like that location better. Very nice birthday dessert recognition for my wife. Bring a fat wallet.
Wow! Hands down the best meal I've had in a long time! The Waygu meatballs were a dream, and the Beef Wellington melts in your mouth! It was a birthday celebration, and they brought us both complementary mini sticky toffee pudding desserts. Our server Hector saw to our every need, and kept our water glasses iced and full. The setting is a little noisy, but exactly what you would expect Hell's Kitchen to be. We felt very pampered and cared for. This is my second visit, and I can't wait to come back!
The food wasn't tasty at all. No flavor and no seasoning. Very bland. Not worth the money at all. I spent approximately $80. Very disappointed. The dry fatty steak was received by another party at the table. They didn't even trim the fat
