Safeway Liquor - Steamboat Springs

This place sits with the thousands of tourists a year for the local views of mountains and beautiful picturesque paths around the county. It's a 5 shop. They could complain, but they give you a service. Well done, Safeway. My grandpa ran a safeway in northern California in the early 1970s. I had high expectations when entering and they met her.

It's a supermarket. All their products looked fresh. I found everything I needed, including reading glasses and potato masonry, as our house had no. All employees wore masks... right. They were all kind and helpful. They also keep helpful hours. Everything you need in a supermarket. Best thing: bring your own bags or are calculated for them. That, I'm not counting against her! On the contrary... it shows a concern for the environment.

I'm never really a safeway girl.... I find the accusation from their shops, not as user-friendly as King Soopern or krogers depending on the area in which you are. That was no exception. We walked around and found what we needed. The store was clean and they seemed to be well stored compared to what I saw in Fort Collins as Instacart Shopper. We went through self-control and did not really interact with any staff, so can not really talk to the kindness of the staff.

Very clean and friendly. Very well equipped. Even found a new kind of water I like. We arrived at the night when they were all the lights in the ice freezers that they were very accommodating and helped us get our ice cream.

Ski Haus Liquor is conveniently located on the main road as you enter Steamboat Springs from the east. Their parking lot is smaller than the Safeway's next door so you can park in either lot and get groceries and liquor in one stop. I'm familiar with liquor stores in several states. Ski Haus is somewhere between the better stores in CA NJ and the state stores in PA UT. They had a good selection of higher priced wines, but very few bargain wines. You may want to call ahead to see if they have or can order your favorites.
