China Garden - Steger

So far, the food has been excellent. For takeout, we ordered dinner and the price per person was around $20–30. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3. I highly recommend the House Special, Gravy, and Egg Foo Young.

Every time I visit this restaurant, there's always someone unfriendly at the counter. I've been coming here for years, and the only pleasant person I've encountered is a young male employee. Regardless of whether the food is good, the service makes me not want to return. On top of that, I've spotted cockroaches here. It may sound harsh, but it has taken me two years to write this review after numerous visits. I certainly won't be coming back.

I had previously rated this restaurant five stars, but after tonight's experience, I can no longer do so. While we were waiting for our order, I saw a woman drop a chicken nugget on the floor, pick it up, place it on the tray, and then put it into the fryer. She then added crab Rangoon to the same oil. I am completely appalled by this. We had paid for our meal before witnessing this incident and will not be returning. Service: Takeout Meal Type: Dinner
