Ms Pats- Soul Food Stone Mountain

The food is decent but the portion sizes are way too small for the prices.

So I am pregnant and was craving liver, rice and gravy. I needed it to taste like my mother’s. My man and I were looking for a place in the area and finally decided on Mrs. Pat’s Soul Food. Upon arrival I was happy to learn that it was the same people that had We Got Soul restaurant, me and my mom use to eat there all the time. The liver was cooked to order and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I got with rice and gravy, Mac and cheese, collards with corn bread. EVERYTHING was good. I wish the cornbread muffin was bigger but aside from that I was pleasantly impressed. My man enjoyed his catfish and fries as well. We will definitely eat here again!

The fish was fried way too hard....peas tasted burnt. Mac and cheese was okay. The corn bread was so small. The smallest I've ever seen!! I'd compare it to the size of the palm of my hand. Not enough cornbread to pair with the peas. Bread was gone in two bites.

I love this place! Food is delicious and they give great portions.

Vegetarian options: The place is well diversified. Parking: Parking hasn’t been a problem since they opened. Parking lot is accessible with lots of space
