I moved into the usa here and this is the first emptying I had, and the taste has never changed! it is also cheap! place: it is located in ellihurst queens, the load is located near US super market, so when they go for food stores they can go here quickly! the interieur is not elegant, simple and they just go here to eat. service: I have to go here so that I simply command and go. Eat: fried dumplings: they are the best and they are cheap, get the spicy spices on the table, they can as many as they want. the dumplings smell something, but really taste good! seafood noodles: they are made fresh! they are very tasty and many seafood in it. review: 2/10, very cheap! omg are the best when it comes to cheap food and dumplings!
The restaurant is easy to find and close to the railway station and has a large sign, parking on the road. the atmosphere is regular, it can be better. the service is slow. the food came to a normal time. the noodle chicken soup was rich, but a little salty. the dumplings were delicious and the taste with good balance. the prices are excellent for the quality of food.
This was my after school special since they were on whitney ave.. the allowance my parents gave me was enough for some mj and some dumplig munchies... now that i'm older, prices haven't changed much although it's risen a bit.. but I love this place so much that I come back every now and then for the frozen bag.. as a kid, this was my first place experiencing someone pulling noodles by hand before it was a thing on TV
When you know, you know...and now I know, thanks to fellow Yelper GrubAdventuresD giving me reminders and nudges to go!! Lao Bei Fang Dumping House is a hidden GEM!! If I lived closer, I 'd be there on a regular basis. Many of my other Yelp friends have given rave reviews, and Lao Bei Fang has been on my bookmark list for yearssss, but this is the first time I 've actually gone. Now this place is on my fave places bookmark list...cause now I know, too! Superficially, from the outside, it doesn 't look so special. But once you start to peruse their menu, you start to think, hmmm, this place is the real deal! See my photo of their menu . The guy making the fresh hand pulled noodles on the spot, seals the deal! I literally got to see him make my noodles! They were perfection. The guy 's forearms were pretty amazing also! hahaha : On my first visit, this is what I ordered: Pork Leek Fried Dumplings #1 $4.75/8pcs: these were fantastic. Real comfort food. It didn 't even need any sauce. Sauteed Pork Hand pulled Noodles #49 $10.75: This was so flavorful and the noodles were perfection. The noodles had the right texture and chew to it. I was eating this order for 3 meals...huge portion! So satisfying and tasty! I 'm definitely ordering this again. Next on my radar: Hot Spicy Soup $10.75 with either Beef Tendon Tripe #6 , or with Lamp Chop #13 . Both sound delicious. Yelper GrubAdventuresD warned me not to get spicier than medium spicy since I may not be able to tolerate that level of spicy. And let me tell ya, I have a very high tolerance for spicy foods, but I will definitely NOT get spicier than medium spicy ! You 've been warned! Haha I was also advised that eating this soup in house is much better than doing takeout. Customer service is very friendly and patient. This is not a waiter service restaurant. It 's more self order/self serve. There is a sauce area where you can help yourself to dumpling sauce, soy sauce or chili oil...definitely get the chili oil! In a neighborhood full of great eats, this place is a real standout! Prices are so reasonable; Food is so fresh delicious. What 's not to love? I 'll definitely be back soon...cause now I know, too!
Picked up an order of pork and chive dumplings. Probably got a bad batch, but they were all super burnt! Willing to give them another try though.
