I can’t believe anyone would give Stone Soup anything but 5 stars. The food, the staff, the ambiance are all perfect. It is not inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth it.
There's nothing so romantic or special as going to a beautifully situated restaurant across from one of the oldest continually operating Town Halls in the United States. The food is elegant and delightful to any gourmet palette. You will be treated like long lost family. We love it!
I started going here in 1975 when it was a hippie organic place with vegetarian food. Over the years I've visited sporadically, but always had a wonderful experience. Hoping to come by this July. Wondering if there is a sample menu anywhere or if someone could snapshot the menu some visit. Thanks!
Four of us had a fabulous dinner here last night apparently as the only customers on a sleety night! I had a pan fried duck breast cooked to perfection, generously proportioned and very moist and flavorful. Two of the others had Cornish Game Hens and one had a lamb tenderloin. We shared a Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie. All of us agreed it was one of the best meals we've had in some time. The restaurant itself is roomier than expected, nicely decorated and quite appealing. Even a good wine, beer and full bar service! Highly recommend it!
