Corner Cafe - Stromsburg

This is our favorite place to stop on our way home to North Dakota from Kansas! It's conveniently located on Highway 81, just north of York, Nebraska. There's a fantastic city park right across the street that makes it easy for us to park our camper while we enjoy our meal. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and they offer drinks to go. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly!

On February 11, 2020, I ordered a protein omelet at this café, and I was thoroughly impressed. The Corner Café served me a much better egg white omelet than the upscale country club. It was larger, more flavorful, and packed with fresh vegetables—not just a few burnt ones. Kudos to Corner Café!

This was my first visit, and I had an excellent hamburger with curly fries. I'll definitely be back!

Great place to stop for coffee in the mornings. Breakfast is good and priced well. Lunch is good and also priced well. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Staff is friendly.
