The Elmton - Struthers

We recently stayed in Youngstown for the night on our way to Michigan. A close friend who grew up in the area recommended a restaurant for us to try when I asked for suggestions.

The service from the staff is excellent! However, the pizza quality is lacking. Many patrons mention that the owner is difficult to work with. For a much better pizza experience, I recommend trying Bellaria instead.

The pizza at this restaurant is not as good as it used to be. There is not enough sauce on it. Even when I asked for extra sauce, I only got some on the side. I was told that they now put the sauce on in the morning.

This restaurant is a must-visit in the Youngstown area. Every time we come back to visit family, we make sure to dine here. We absolutely adore this place and are thrilled that the dining room is now open. The bar is a beautiful piece of vintage hardwood that adds to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. It brings me joy to think about all the previous generations that have sat here. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. For an authentic experience, I recommend ordering a freshly made pizza instead of a pre-made slice. Keep in mind that adding toppings can take away from the authentic flavor of the pizza, which is all about the sauce and cheese. The restaurant can get busy, so be patient. For the full experience, I suggest going alone, sitting at the bar, and enjoying a beer with their delicious broasted chicken or fish. Their sandwiches are also amazing, especially the Roast Beef. Remember, good food takes time, but it's definitely worth the wait.

The waitress had to correct our bill five times, indicating a need for additional support. The service was rated a 2 out of 5, and we dined in for dinner. The price per person was over $100. The food received a score of 2, while the atmosphere was rated a 5.
