Drei Mohren - Stuttgart

The Three Mohren is a beautiful little restaurant in the middle of the old town of Stuttgart. Very good to reach by public transport or by car. The menu offers something for the friend of Swabian specialties as well as for the lover of Thai cuisine. Everyone should really find something to eat here. The food was very delicious, the spices were well matched. The staff is also very friendly and committed. We're coming back!

Overrated pub with old people not excepting credit cards. OK food if it would have been 10 euros cheaper but much worse and more expensive then e.g. der rote hirsch in stuttgart. I would not go here again.

It is an evening following a beautiful day. This quarter of Stuttgart seems oddly quiet given the wonderful weather and the gorgeous day. The Drei Mohren was equally calm. I was the only person in the place until nearly 20:30. The waiter seemed suspicious of me. Is Stuttgart a nocturnal flower like Madrid? I don't know. It is my first time here at night. I rather doubt it. I have yet to experience a city in Deutschland where dinner typically starts after 20:30. Not even Berlin. Though the Spätzli was rather bland, the Schwäbische specialties that I tried were pretty good. The locale exuded history and authenticity. Even so, I did not feel welcome. Then, again, that's what happens in Deutschland when one is alone and enters a place frequented by locals. People fear the Steppenwolf. If you decide to go here. Bring Euro's. They don't accept credit cards. Not ideal for a short business trip.

This place is fantastic! Don't be put off by the German menu and the German wine list. The very friendly waiter helped us find a fantastic German wine (probably around the standard that you would have to pay around £15 for in a British supermarket). The food was amazing. It really must be tried. If you want something rubbish like McDonald's then you need to go there but for a few pounds extra this is the place to be.

Hello dear three mohren team, they have been looking forward to the evening. that was like eating from another star. I have never experienced such a great variety and love to eat. I will speak in the highest tones and full of conviction of them and hope to see again soon in the beautiful stuttgart.
