San's Bistro Weinbar Stuttgart

It’s a nice place to chill with friends and grab a coffee or a bier. The prices are not that cheap but it’s like that in almost every place in Stuttgart. I haven’t tried the soup but it’s supposed to be very good.

Went there to have a drink with friends last night and we did not feel welcome at all. No greeting from staff and not even a smile. Gave us our food without napkins and knife/fork. We had to wait more than mins for them...to give it to us. My friend tried to call the waitress(blond girl with short hair) but she kept ignoring us in spite that we were just seated beside the bar. My friend had to stand up and ask for some fork and knife. Plus the food was cold and not even good. Keep away from this place. Staff are not so friendly and accommodating.

I liked it so much I went twice during my visit. There is a wide selection of soups, which change daily and they offer a selection of sandwiches and stews. I had a soup one day and a stew the next, both of which were...served in a good sized bowl along with several pieces of bread. There is a good selection of wines and all variety of coffee and soft drinks. This is a very pleasant place for a relaxing lunch.

The best soups you can get in Stuttgart. They have a seasonal selection of very good soups with some vegetarian options. A few small slices of bread accompany the soup but if you need more to fill up they also have a limited selection of...panini sandwiches, small house made pre-packaged salads and desserts that are also very good. This is a fast place to get a quick lunch but it is not super cheap.
