Bibik Chan's Kitchen was for many, many years located on Stirling Highway in Nedlands; recently it moved to the Subiaco Village in Hay Street - just
The service was prompt and very courteous, we were greeted with a smile and very good manners. The food didn’t take too long to be prepared and it was definitely up to par, very well cooked and prepared as good as possible given the type of food we ordered (Nasi Goreng and Mutu Fish Curry).
So I'm really torn about this place. On one hand, I didn't enjoy one single dish that was put infront of me, it was flavorless, missing specific flavours for the dish it actually was, I tried to explain to my table some things i wanted and the lady kept talking over me and wouldn't go away while we hashed it out. She seemed aggitated at the table at one point too but she's a little bit rude.On the other hand, a couple of non asian people at our table who were really hungry did actually enjoy the food, though i reiterate they don't know what they're eating and were already hungry. The lady was generally quite nice except for those two moments, the food is cheap really. However i can't bring myself to give it more than stars for the flavour. I'd rather pay a bit more and get a nice meal rather than something so bland I could make myself. The Wilson parking (where u must part for this complex) really starts you off on a bad vibe too.I didn't even take any photos of the food because i was so disappointed.
Came here for the first time, food was below average in taste but very affordable price. Service was a bit slow as there only have two workers on a very busy evening . The staff nearly overcharged us but luckily we checked our bill before we pay.
