Sulliya AKA Sulya is a Taluk the Taluk HQ in DK District where it is located... about 85 KM away from Mangalore City which is the nearest airport. It has about 20K population, with the famous temple town Kukke Subrahmanya located around 38 Km away. Mangalore is around 2 to 3 hours away by road to this town and Sullia lies on Mangalore to Mercara highway. This restaurant Santrupti is right near highway and quiet spacious and arguably the best restaurant around the vicinity in Sullia town. They have a nice parking space too. Hotel is pretty neat and nicely maintained. The food is impeccable in taste. They serve both North and South Indian fare with South being the better one invariably! Staff are nice and attentive and helpful in terms any diet concerns you have and tell them in advance. They they will be forthcoming and take the care accordingly which is nice to note in a tier 2 town kind of place! Their prices are not high and portions are nice and turn over time is pretty quick. They are usually pretty busy and its first come first serve kind of place so keep that in mind! It is actually a surprise to such neat restaurant in this town. We enjoyed and are sure you will too!

While travelling from Mangalore to Coorg recently , we had to halt for Lunch had asked our Taxi Driver to take us to a nice eating joint. Though it took us a long time on the way but the wait was well rewarded by the nice ambience, tasty food clean area at this Restaurant.
