I never leave reviews, but after the first bite of our appetizer, I knew it was going to be amazing. Our food was insanely fresh, the wait staff was nice we than I could have ever asked for, and everyone was so kind! We left a $20 tip just because of how amazing everything was, and I cannot stress enough that this food was… The freshest and most flavorful I have ever eaten. Thank you, Taco Boy!!!!!! Will recommend to everyone I know lol.
Great atmosphere we sat in the greenhouse area to dine it was nice being surrounded by plants. The bartender was eye candy and all the other staff was super polite and attentive. The food was unique, avocado tacos and the plate full of nachos was enough for 5 people. From the quesadillas to the Baja fish tacos everything came quick and was phenomenal. Great Mexican place 5 stars
The food came out very fast, the lunch crowd was very small so it made moving around the restaurant easy. The waiter was nice, respectively, and knew the menu. We asked for suggestions, and he was able to assist with no problem. The waiter memory was awesome! He never wrote anything down, and the food came out perfect. When asked for to go boxes for our chips and queso, our waiter brought out a fresh chip.
I liked this spot a lot. It was cute, quiet and our server was nice. We were lucky enough to experience the rain in the outdoor/enclosed section of the restaurant. The food was good. I do wish the rice had been cooked a bit more. There were hard parts on the rice, almost not cooked. I'm not sure if that's how they make it or not. So take that part with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, the food was still amazing! I ordered the lunch special. One barria taco, one firecracker shrimp taco, beans and rice. All amazing! After lunch we ordered queso and enjoyed the rain.
This was a recommendation from our hotel and we were very excited about eating there. I love the decor but there were many problems with our experience. This is not the cleanest food establishment I've ever been in. When we we seated, it took a while to even have someone come to our table, which was in the corner on the upper level. The server was very preoccupied and not really with us. We ordered and it took forever.....finally they came back to tell us they had a big party that had tied up the kitchen and the food would get there soon. As a professional chef, this line of excuses always makes me mad as all the blame is put on the kitchen staffs backs. Many times the real reason is the error of the servers to put the order in a timely manner or because of a mistake they made in placing the order and the order had to be remade. But, back to this story, our food finally came and it was awful! I only ordered beans and rice, both were not even warm. This restaurant doesn't give you chips and salsa but if you want it you are charged for them. I would have expected warm/hot chips (they were not) and especially because we waited so long for our meals, maybe a refill on the appetizer would have been a nice gesture. No such luck! Also, the portion size for each dish was tiny but the prices were overpriced for the value. Very disappointing experience. To top it off, when we tried to pay so we could get out of there, the server stated the wifi was acting up so it took even more time for them to figure out how to make the machines work so we could pay. The saddest part is we were still hungry with the appetizer portions we received so we ate at another restaurant later that evening.
