And now, to the Cavana's review... I have a job in the area and was looking for a place to grab lunch. Cavana's caught my eye, being that it is located on the corner of a cute little strip of local boutiques (and I just so happened to find parking right out front). I was seated relatively quick (if you get to the restaurant around 11 am, you SHOULD be able to get a table inside or outside). Menu is made up of salads, sandwiches, etc. Pretty straight forward fare. The first time I visited, I went with one of the turkey sandwiches, as recommended by our waitress (pictured below this review). I had to step outside to take a call, and returned back to my STACKED sando, which stood roughly as tall as my pint glass. Let me tell you it was LOADED! Tons of meat... I had to take half home, and could barley close the box. On my second visit, I ordered the crab grilled cheese to go (also pictured). I'd say it was more crab than cheese, but was amazing!!!! However, I do NOT recommend trying to eat it while driving, like I did. Price point is very reasonable, although some might argue it is expensive for a sandwich with fries. With that said, this is easily a sharable meal, or TWO meals!!! The food also scored high with me in the freshness and quality category, which also makes it worth the With Sutter and Cavana's being just an hour outside of downtown Sacramento, it makes for a fantastic little roundtrip for lunch (or dinner! I hear they have great drinks).

Absolutely love cavana's for lunch or dinner! the staff are always so kind and helpful. the most recent trip i was here i was with a party of 10. with it being a busy weekend they weren't able to accommodate a last minute reservation, but sat us shortly after a large party left. i love that they have a text waitlist option so you can see where you're at in line! i've never had a bad meal here. the goat balls are worth every penny. the pub pretzels are absolutely fire. the fried zucchini is DELICIOUS. don't be scared by the zucchini half it's cooked to perfection! the cabana's club is great for club sandwich fans! the burger patties are from a local meat company.. i'm drooling just thinking about them. terri jo blue burger will satisfy EVERY taste bud. my only complaint is parking is tough, but worth it to eat here!
Although the atmosphere and service was delightful, I have to say that was the most tasteless grilled cheese I have ever had, and my husband said the burger he had tasted like there was no spice at all. Where was all the flavor?
We showed up with a party of 13. The servers were fast and efficient and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend the fried green beans, pretzel and goat balls as a starter. The sandwiches were huge, as adults 2 of us could have split one. Very impressive!!
