In addition, the food is expensive and they only accept cash! No credit or debit card is accepted in the year 2023 (I wonder why? P.S. this restaurant is the nearest to where I live, hence the reason that I have used them a few times, I have now learnt my lesson. AVOID!
Average food. Accepts only cash. One of my favourite food is Nasi Goreng. My experience of this at Noodle house was it was just average . There was no egg nor any anchovies as I believe these are key to a good Nasi goreng. Another bummer is that they do not accept any cards only CASH.
Just a heads up, this restaurant only accepts cash as payment. The Malaysian food is tasty, however, it's more of a simple takeout place that charges higher prices typical of a restaurant - £10 for beef rendang, and £9 for salt and pepper squid.
We were recommended this restaurant by someone, and normally I wouldn't travel 30 minutes for takeout, but I thought, why not give it a try. We ordered dishes from our time in Malaysia and were not disappointed. Closing your eyes, the flavors transport you thousands of miles away to the island of Penang. We will definitely be visiting again and again.
Despite its outdated decor, the restaurant's great food shines through. A friend introduced me to this place and I loved the flavorful and unforgettable dishes. I returned with other friends who also enjoyed the food. The only challenge is that if you're not familiar with Chinese or Malaysian cuisine, you might have trouble navigating the extensive menu. However, the quality of the food makes it a good value and stands out from typical cheap Chinese takeout places. It's a shame that only takeout is available currently, as meals taste best when they're fresh out of the kitchen. Hopefully, we can dine in again soon.
