Kuku - Sutton Coldfield

The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and the server was very friendly. I will definitely be returning. However, on my second visit, I was overcharged, but I did receive a refund. I then ordered a takeaway and had to wait over an hour, even though they called to inform me it would be delayed. When I received my order, I was given a can of soda instead of the 1.5-liter bottle that was supposed to come with the platter for two. Additionally, I was overcharged again. I was really let down because my first experience was fantastic, with no complaints at all, but the server I had during that visit was not there this time.

The food was delightful and the service was excellent. We ordered the chicken, lamb with boiled eggplant, and some impressive halloumi! Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would gladly return. However, I felt that the prices were a bit steep. Perhaps it's due to the location in Sutton, but I've had similar dishes for half the price elsewhere.

I had the Sharer starter, which was meant for 2-3 people, but I think it’s better suited for 2. The calamari, coated in panko breadcrumbs, was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the grilled haloumi was cooked to perfection. The complimentary bread and olives were a nice touch as well. For the main course, I chose the lamb and opted for rice instead of couscous. The lamb, with its incredible gravy, was the highlight of the meal—just fantastic! The service was also excellent; the staff was attentive and available when needed, but they gave us space to enjoy our dining experience. We were treated to an authentic Turkish atmosphere that was both beautiful and very friendly. I’ll definitely be back soon!

We decided to treat ourselves to a family dinner tonight, and I was really looking forward to it. Although I had to wait for 30 minutes, I didn't mind at all because I knew the food was made to order. Everything was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! The meat and chicken were cooked perfectly—tender and juicy. All the sides were also fantastic, including the bread, sauces, dips, and salad. Yes, it is a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for. I couldn't fault the service either; I received three complimentary drinks because of the long wait. Thank you!

Fantastic eating, the best we had for a long time! the personal is amazing, very courteous, very friendly, the kind they only seek. we had appetizers, main thing, drinks and close it with the Turkish tee.
