I understand that some people intentionally refill the side dishes so they can take the left over side dishes but I had only 1 radish kimchi when it first served. If side dish is veggie or raw crab, some restaurants explain well not to take it home cuz the hot weather may not keep the food fresh. It's weird cuz we take out most of left over food when we go to American restaurant. Hopefully they allow other customers to take the left over food so they don't waste food
The location, service, and food quality are good or at least basic depending on the person, but one thing needs improvement. Not once or twice, but about 30 minutes before closing time. The friendly people suddenly changed their minds and told the customers that they wanted them to leave quickly. The closing time is early compared to other restaurants, but it feels like it's not easy to stay comfortably at night because you're being noticed, so I hope they improve this area.
Recommend this seolruntang place. They have all bone soups and other Korean dishes. However, they are apecialized in bone soups. Their tendons soup was in great shape and all good sized. Very busy reataurant and many Older Korean people come here because it is authentic. Must try if you are a local or in town. However, do not order haemulpachun (mixed seafood pancake), it is $18 but disappointed priduct. Other places might give you extra soup broth, but here they want you to order another bowl.
First of all, I am a long time regular here. Even though I continue to be dissatisfied with the service and have to put up with the unfriendliness several times, I still go there because it 's close to my house. Here, side dish refills are begging. The servers quickly pass by even after seeing all the side dishes empty. Well, I 'm not asking for it three times or ten times, but even if I refill the side dish just once, I 'm told, 'I 'm out of this. ' 'I often hear this. It 's not even lunch time yet, and they 've already run out of side dishes... I asked for a refill without realizing they were out of side dishes... This is when I feel sorry... I came to the restaurant, two people ate over 45 dollars, and I even gave them a tip. It 's a very strange house that makes you feel uncomfortable, sorry, and begging for a refill. Unfriendliness is basic, and in other places, you order food and after a while, they bring you side dishes first. It gets boring if you wait too long. It’s an implicit kindness that says, “Please at least eat this first.” This house has nothing like that at all. Food and side dishes are served all at once. I understand. The feeling of regretting side dishes. You can fully feel it. And when I asked for a refill while eating, they said they were out of side dishes like eggs and tofu. I understand. Because those are expensive side dishes. By the way, why do you run a restaurant? If you waste food so much... As I said before, you only have to refill once. Is there any Korean who refills his drink three or four times without even noticing it? In the first place, aren 't the side dishes served for one person, not for two people? The unfriendliness of this house really makes me feel bad beyond words. Of course I don 't want to tip, but I 'm scared...of course I always give 20%. And yet, if I go, I will kill* myself. I go there because it 's close to home and the food isn 't bad. I don 't want to recommend it. I really want to write a review like this and convey the inconvenience and unfriendliness I experienced to the employees and the boss. Because my mind is spinning. If you run a restaurant and have that kind of attitude, customers won 't say anything, but they all know. I will receive your whole heart. If food is so bad, why not go somewhere else instead of going to a restaurant... Before the coronavirus, food that was about $10 on the all-day special menu has risen to $16.99, and even though other places have lunch specials, they haven 't lowered the prices here. I don 't go here anymore. And I think other people shouldn 't sell at places like this until they lower the prices. If possible, I recommend eating lunch at a place that offers lunch specials.
Good traditional Korean cuisine with a large assortment of soup, bbq/meat dishes, and other unique (good with alcohol) dishes like pork blood sausage, spicy tendon, etc.
