Server was sweet but the food was unsafe. Potatoes rotten and scrambled eggs very questionable. Great opportunities missed with really bad food.

When we're in town, this is always our favorite breakfast spot. We've been coming for years and never had a bad meal or experience. I can vouch that this is the finest restaurant in all of the land.

I keep forgetting the Cottage Restaurant! Its location is so good, (nestled in the middle of the village, yet out of sight) we forget how darn good the place is. I 've been there twice in the last week and both times the food and service was excellant! I love a good burger and fries and they were both fantastic.(and very affordable) The atmosphere is absolutly unique as there is no place like it. The brick and natural wood are very welcoming and comforting. Probably because of this, the acoustics are wonderful and lend themselves to being able to have a nice conversation. (Never too noisy) The owner, Michele is such a nice and down to earth person, you always feel welcome and at home. She is always there and on top of things whether she is cooking, serving, greeting or just visiting. It 's always a good sign when the owner is so invested. Finally, there is always parking available. I am sticking a post a note on my dash that says REMEMBER THE COTTAGE . I love it there and I am going to make it my go to . It 's close and it 's great!

Very reasonable prices for breakfast. Very good food for the money. Old and dark inside.
