Contribuisci feedbackFrom Oklahoma and traveled to Syracuse, New York for my husbands work. Never had New York pizza, so we were excited to try it for the first time. I just randomly choose this place and folks.....we were not disappointed one bit. If anything, I was disappointed there was no left overs; My family ATE. I had no idea there were different types of ways to make pizzas; Sicilian, Sheet, Neapolitan...etc. I just took a chance and choose Neopolitan and it was exactly what I wanted thin sliced pizzas. The Red Garlic sauce is just their pizza sauce with minced garlic on top. Best flavor ever.
Not from the area we were passing by, we stopped because there is parking right in front of the restaurant and a dining area. Woah did we make the right decision, this place is a gem !!! Food was fast and service was great !! The dining area was spacious and very clean, but the pizza is the star absolutely the best pizza we’ve ever had hands down. Chewy crust cooked to perfection just enough sauce that’s a bit spicy and loads of real cheese. The wings were big and cooked to perfection and the mozzerall sticks were phenomenal we even had a debate about these being hand breaded and not frozen. We decided they are hand breaded and not frozen. We will forever compare future pizza to Joe and Gino’s. Thank you to the owner who was so sweet to our children.
This time we ordered their pizza which is always reliable and that's why we call them. The delivery is never longer than they tell you. The staff and delivery drivers are very friendly! My husband and I love to order their Monday night Ziti special, upsize the salad, as two more garlic knots and voila! Dinner for two for about $15. Most of the time we can't finish it all!
I love this place. Always fast friendly service. The owner is a nice guy, always says hello. The antipasto salad is delicious. Lettuce mix with Italian Meats and cheeses with roasted red peppers, pepperoncini,red onion, and hard boiled egg. Topped with a very tasty house dressing. And the pizza, let’s talk about the pizza. The best way to judge any pizza place is on the plain cheese, and Gino and joes excels! I am from Long Island/New York City, and this tasted just like a pizza parlor there. Perfect!
The second visit to this place and the second time they messed up my order. Had to go back to retrieve the missed mozz sticks and arrived back home to find my buffalo tenders were just original chicken tenders with no hot sauce at all. Not bothering to call again just won 't be going back.
