I do not recommend this restaurant as the flavors are not true to Mexican cuisine. I would give them 1 star, but Happy Cow does not allow it.
We ordered two "Greedy Burritos" at £11 each and a plate of nachos. When the employee brought our food to us, we were disappointed. The burritos were not filled as we had hoped, they were small and lacking in filling except for rice. It seemed like the £9 version would have been the same. The advertisement on their Instagram showed generously filled burritos with various ingredients, but what we got was a disappointment. The taste was there, but there was very little of it. We felt like we had overpaid for what we received. The nachos were better, with a unique mix of sweet potato and vegan cheese that worked well. However, the tortilla chips seemed like they came from a cheap supermarket brand. Overall, it was an unsatisfying meal for the price we paid.
The burrito at this restaurant was very large, but lacked enough fillings such as meat or vegetables to make it satisfying. It was mostly filled with rice, which made it feel like a letdown for the price of £9 each. I also wish they had a better selection of toppings. I apologize in advance if they are a new pop-up restaurant in Singleton Park, but they should consider adding more fillings to their burritos to attract more customers. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and won't be returning.
Visits the pop-up in Singleton Park. For some reason they use edamame instead of avocados to a fake guac that tastes strange. I do not recommend them, the flavors are not mexican. I want to give one star, but Happy Cow doesn't leave it.
We ordered both greedy Burritos at £11 each and a plate of Nachos. With Hindsight, we thought the employee who brought them to us laughed at us. The greedy Burritos were not greedy. They were quite small and quite free from filling except rice. I'm sure it was the same for the £9 versions. It was just that this should be a mixture of fillings. It seems that they use false advertisements about their Instagram as they showed generously filled Burritos with beans and corn and Slav. What we had was the taste, but there was very little of it. I would have felt a bit irritated if I had paid £7 for the Burrito, let alone £11. The nachos were beautiful and unique enough, the blend of sweet potato and vegan cheese works well. The tortilla chips were immiscible from the 50p bulk bags from the big supermarkets. Definitely the most embarrassing meal I had as a vegan. £30 and we were not even full or satisfied as we paid quite a lot to eat cheap carbs with a hint of what could have been a delicious meal.
