Warm, friendly, quiet and relaxing .. don't let it's position next to the bus station put you off with its drop-outs, smokers and drunks outside the station doors. This is a gem and a nice calming oasis to relax in for an hour or so. Best flat white in Swansea .... full bodied, dark and very strong!! Love it!!
My wife and her sister recently went to have some food and drink. My wife had a bowl of broccoli and cheese soup. After the first few spoons it tasted very sour, so she took it back and politely explained that she couldn't eat it. The young lady did not say anything about it or offer a replacement but just stood there, so my wife asked to see the manager. The Manger's response was even worse! Instead of offering a solution, he stated that other people haven't complained. My wife said that in that case she just had spent about £6 for a cup of tea. The manager still did not offer anything else and he was not even apologetic. As far as we are concerned this was one of the most awful customer services we have ever experienced. We are certain that such behaviour would never be tolerated by employees in any other establishment. It appeared that to them their behaviour was totally acceptable and seemed to be tolerated by other customers. However we found the experience very upsetting and the rude attitude towards a genuine complaint was absolutely shocking.
Been meaning to visit this place for ages. It's adjacent to The Quadrant/bus station in Swansea. Great coffee and very reasonably priced much better than the chain coffee place nearby! Try it and see, you won't be disappointed! Great find.
Been here twice this week, the good thing about the Coffee Bean is it's not too busy or noisy you know you will get a comfy seat.
We've visited The Coffee Bean 4 times in the last 2 weeks, what a great find! Lovely comfortable surroundings and the staff are really welcoming. We've tried the teas, coffees, soup of the day, toasted tea-cakes, Welsh cakes, jacket potatoes and according to my mother-in-law the best cheese and onion toasted sandwiches she's ever had! We've thoroughly enjoyed everything and will definitely be visiting again
