It also serves Japanese food and noodle soups (my favourite is the classic won ton noodle soup). There is always a small crowd waiting in line here. My go-to dish is the beef rice noodle.
Food court Asian with a selection of ready to go dishes or a large menu of cook to order.
David's Kitchen is found underneath the 52 Martin Place building.
If you're looking for an affordable hole-in-the-wall dining experience, then go to this place. This restaurant offers Chinese, Thai, Malay and Singaporean cuisines. What I love about their menu is they offer customers the option of ordering a complete meal, be it viand and rice or their noodle soups, and to also choose a from their array of fried rice and viands separately. I especially love ordering their honey lemon tea whenever I am not feeling well as this drink just instantly makes me feel better. They have a takeaway option at the front of their store or if you choose to dine in then just enter their shop and wait to be seated.
There 's a reason why the lunch rush is always dominated by David 's Kitchen:<br/ 1. This cafeteria style restaurant is the definition of 'bang for your buck '. Prepare to spend an average of $10 for what seems like a two person serving of food<br/ 2. The selection of hot bar toppings and freshly made menu items never fails to hit whatever fancy you 're having that day<br/ <br/ The service is snappy, the queues get long, but at the end of the day the sheer range of the menu, the value, and the food will make this place your go-to for fried rice, egg noodle soups, laksas, curries, and whatever else you can dream up that belongs on a staple Asian food roster.
