Kansai - Sydney

Dont let the entrance fool you. This is good quality Japanese with proper sushi, excellent tempura and tasty Udon.

This is a delayed blog post. I have a confession to make, I am a regular at Kansai and have been going here for over 10 years. I now work nearby and often frequent Kansai for a quick lunch or dinner. Kansai is a casual Japanese Eatery, located downstairs in the Hunter arcade. I have ordered the Green Tea Noodles with Salmon so many times, it's hard to count. It's absolutely my favourite dish but I opt for something else today. I recommend but I will be reviewing other dishes in this instance.

$45 for an all you can eat buffet?? DEAL! Sashimi boat was to die for. Service was nice and quick, surprisingly on a Friday night. Food also came out very quickly.

The $32 all-you-can-eat buffet deal is fantastic and well worth it. The customer service was very attentive and the sushi, tempura and other dishes were all fantastic. <br/ <br/ Will definitely be coming again with bigger groups!

Excellent value! You obviously aren't going to pay $42 and get premium quality all you can eat sashimi, but overall the food was fresh, tasty Japanese. Very attentive service too and didn't make you feel bad for ordering a lot. Recommended!
