O'Uchi - Sydney

Went for lunch and had the grilled mackerel bento with a side order of salmon sashimi ($24 in total). Fresh ingredients, mild flavours, a little on the light side was still a bit hungry afterwards.

Tried their Kara age chicken don. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour which is usually not the with this dish in most of the restaurants. The rice was yumm and complemented the chicken very well. Though it was on the pricier side but the taste made it worth it. Definite recommendation.

Just loved it. Had the Tataki Ramen. Great broth and melt in your mouth beef. Good service. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. I will be back.

I discovered O’Uchi near my office a month or so ago and since then it has become one of my go-to spots for lunch. The Japanese dishes are made with organic ingredients so it is a healthy option and the generous portion sizes and reasonable prices means I can always come back for a reliable lunch feed (my personal favourite is the Karaage Don). The staff are friendly and attentive and the overall experience is always pleasant at O’Uchi. Give this place a go as soon as you can - you won’t be disappointed!
