We are regulars at Creekside, visiting weekly or biweekly. We had a great experience with Martha, who showed my husband how to eat crawfish at their boil dinner. It was hilarious! Abby, our usual bartender/server, is fantastic. She's fun, friendly, and provides great service. The food is excellent, especially the oysters, fried chicken dinner, and the Peel and eat shrimp with unique seasoning. The prices are reasonable, and the shrimp are a good size (number 8) unlike others. My husband loves that they always have Blantons available. Highly recommend Creekside for a delicious meal and great service!
We really enjoy the seafood at Creekside. It's one of our top places to eat in WNC. The new building is fantastic! Looking forward to our birthday dinner on the terrace tomorrow. Excited!
Recently visited 2 times in the last 3 weeks. Today, the steamed Oysters and Oysters Rockefeller were overcooked and tiny. Last time, I had to send the calamari back because I couldn't even chew it. The collard greens were too chewy. Sent them back. It's called an Oyster Bar restaurant, and both of our Oyster orders were way overcooked. We will give it one more try next week. They used to have excellent perfectly cooked food and need a chef who knows this and get back to when they were superior so people don't mind paying for perfectly cooked fish, Oysters and veggies. Even the crab cake and the hush puppies were overcooked.
