The other guy ordered a scrambler (bowl). He barely ate half of it. I ordered the breakfast wrap. It consisted of a wrap (bought) shell, egg and bits of ham. No cheese. Tasteless. Yet about $14.00. The place was about 1/4 filled when we got there. I see why now. Extra treat, there's a big candy store when you enter the restaurant. Why? Who knows? But then again it might be about the only place that offered tasty food. Weird to say the least. Gordon Ramsey could not save this place.
Wow! The person making afternoon breakfast when I went yesterday really knows what they are doing. Perfect, slightly crisp pancakes, bacon, and over-medium eggs done exactly over-medium. Service was courteous and friendly. Basic food, but I would eat here again. There is also a little candy shop with lots of variety at the entrance of the restaurant.
Food is the usual food chain fare. However food quality is poor in my opinion but they make up for that by giving big portions and good fries. Service was painfully slow. I believe they are under new management so perhaps with time they will improve.
Went for brunch with friends and had a really good time. The food was really good. I had the Western Scrambler and friends had the breakfast special and another scrambler. All really enjoyed the food. but what really impressed was the young lady who served us. Krista was one of the most pleasant servers I've ever been served by. She has extremely attentive regarding our needs and was so friendly during our stay that we all commented on how we enjoyed the experience. Great job!!!! Definately a big reason to come back.
My family of four arrived at the restaurant around 7:00 pm on July 22 for supper. We were promptly seated and found the restaurant to be clean with excellent service. Our waitress was very attentive, despite the crowd. The kids enjoyed their chicken fingers and BBQ chicken dinner, while the M and M sundae and mini brownie dessert were hits for dessert. The adults ordered a tasty beef dip and a slightly dry philly steak sandwich. We would definitely return next time we are in Sylvan Lake, especially since kids eat free on Friday evenings.
