I typically enjoy the food at this restaurant, but this time I ordered a BLT and was extremely disappointed. There were only three overcooked pieces of bacon in the entire sandwich, which barely covered half of the bread. The rest of the bites consisted of green and tomato jam that tasted like ketchup. In essence, I felt like I was just eating a ketchup sandwich.
This restaurant offers a great variety of gourmet packaged items. I tried the shrimp from the deli, and it was good. I was hoping to purchase wine as well based on the reviews, but they only had bottles available for purchase from the connected wine bar. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything that interested me. The wine bar has a lot of potential, but could benefit from some help from a designer. Overall, it's definitely one of the top spots to visit in the area.
Very convenient affordable place to pickup lunch for $10 or $15. Their weekly specials are always a hit! They also have a great selection of grocery products (many local options) if you're looking to try something new at home!
Id go 3.5 if i could. The sommelier saved this experience. Beautiful spot with a great wine list. My steak was terrible. Basically tasted like microwaved roast beef and cold mashed potatoes id have asked to speak with the manager had my wife not been paying for our meal and i pretended it was very good. Waitress was not good. Inattentive, lacke knowledgeable of the menu and short with us basically encouraged us to leave (i was very polite). But the wine quality, great service by the sommelier, beautiful spot and proximity to our Mellencamp concert made it a great date.
