June 2,2017 8:20 pm Food here is actually pretty good the reason for me to keep coming back but this is my last. I 'm giving them a 1 star review because of my very bad experience plus staff didn 't handle us correctly. I got served with a sizzling kangkong with a LONG STRAND of hair. We discretely called the waiter in the name of Jade and showed him the piece of hair beautifully hidden. With no questions asked, he took my plate away and came back a minute later and asked me if we want it replaced. But of course I said. Together with the plate he took was also the serving of rice on my plate. I asked him if he could replace the rice he just took away as I hasn 't started my meal yet. He then walked off and came back with the same plate where the strand of hair was mixed with the kangkong and rice except the piece of hair is not there any longer. I got a little irritated and told him: Are you seriously serving that plate to me again?! Then he said: I thought you wanted the rice That 's when I decide I will write a review. I then told him; yes, I want my rice because you took my plate with the whole serving of rice on it, so I want a replacement! He came back with a serving of rice. What irritates me even more is that they didn 't apologize. Not a Oh, I 'm sorry with that strand of hair, miss etc etc nothing! Just their blank space. Never coming back here again.
Food was great. As I expected little bit pricy compared to other resto. I was just little surprised for their marketing strategy they put up budget menu price outside without any sign that it was only for take out. Experience was great overall.
Customer service is very good. Ambiance is chill and overlooking to the bohol sea. Place is cool. Food is very delicious. It is truly that sisig is their best seller. Great for family and friends which are in groups
As a native of Bohol, I used to visit Gerry's Grill at BQ frequently, about ten years ago, when dining options were limited. Yesterday, I returned and was flooded with memories, such as celebrating my Master’s Degree with a special lunch and after-work meet-ups with colleagues. It’s one of the places where we've celebrated important milestones and has been a reliable choice for Filipino food over the years. I do miss the clear view of the sea, but the ambiance remains pleasant, though I’ve always had a preference for high-rise venues. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions! Given the rising costs of dining out everywhere, I find Gerry's Grill to be quite affordable, and I hope it continues to be. During my visit, I enjoyed the pansit served with large pieces of Kawali—so generous that I ate half and took the rest home. I can’t wait to return for the Stuffed Laing (I can’t recall the exact name), Adobo Rice, and Kare-Kare soon!
