Little Manila - Taguig

I went to Little Manila located at the Food Hall of Venice Grand Canal Mall and I am surprised that it was also the same team behind Baliwag Lechon. For Php165.00 I ordered the famous Baliwag Lechon Manok and Liempo. ???????? I don't know what's with the liver sauce of Little Manila by Baliwag Lechon Manok. "Ang sarap! Napa-extra rice ako." Ordered lechon paksiw, papaitan, and liempo for lunch. The lechon paksiw was served with too much sauce like a bowl of gravy (literally!) and found out that only 4 small tiny pieces of plain pork fats is in there. I wonder if the staff intentionally removed the pork meats for them to take it home which is very usual in other restos. For the liempo, the piece is 4x smaller than the dummy food. And the papaitan is not that quite good. Everything was served not even warm! It's close to being cold! I will never eat here again. Just a waste of money! Totally disappointing. I bet this will soon close not just because of the food but because of the servers as well. They are not happy to serve! Go get some training in Sm supermalls! DISAPPOINTING AND DISGUSTING FOOD AND SERVICE. very carenderia style. Eeeeeewwww. Never again.

Baliwag's sit down nook at the Venice Grand Canal Mall. It gives people several choices for combos at a rather reasonable price pound per pound. The two times we have been there though the food was not warm anymore.

I had their Pinakbet (85 PHP) for take-out since the food court was getting crowded. The vegetables were cooked well and the sauce thick and delicious. They also have roasted chicken and other roasted meat items on display. eater.ph
