The staff is warm and friendly. The outdoor seating area is preferable. There is a variety of delicious drinks to choose from.
I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. I dined here with my children and cousins. We enjoyed the pasta, pizza, and steak we ordered. The ambiance of the restaurant is cool and has natural light. I will definitely visit this place again in the future.
I was very curious about this restaurant upon seeing their menu. Its the first time I saw a resto with this kind of fusion: Italian/Japanese! So I gave in to the curiousity and tried it with my friends and Im soo glad we dined here!...The food was amazing especially the steamed angus beef belly with risotto. I havent had beef cooked this way and it worked great! The flavors are there and the beef was so tender that it melts in your mouth! This dish is enough for me to keep on coming back! I also had the shrimp bisque and the Prosciutto Focaccia. Great starters but a big heavy. Looking forward to trying the other items in the menu. Tip: The prosciutto focaccia is for sharing and best with their chili oil!! Serving size is generous!
This restaurant knows how to keep sushi interesting. The waiters are professional and you will not be disappointed in the food either. Its a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth a try. Once you are there, do not miss the `Perfect Catch`.
(I 'd like to note that I 'm on a less salt, less sugar diet for over a year now, which may affect my opinion of the dishes ' taste, but I ate here with friends and family who are not on any kind of diet and they...share the same feedback as mine. The restaurant serve a mix of Japanese and Italian and they claim to have kid friendly dishes. The price is just right for the serving they have huge servings here and we kind of over ordered because one serving can be shared by two or three people. Even the regular sized drinks are served in big glasses. I 'm not saying the taste is bad, it 's quite okay, but compared with some Japanese and Italian restaurants we 've dined in before, the food here is not something you 'll rave to your friends about, or would make you want to come back regularly to get a taste of this feedback is of course only for the food items we ordered. Still, the Perfect Catch sushi and Truffled Bacon Cheeseburger sushi, Chili shrimp aglio oglio pasta, as well as the Baked Norwegian Pink Salmon are something to try (these were our best orders so far . We also ordered the Nori chicken, chicken alfredo fettucini, Kalifornia roll, and Jabanero baby back ribs all plain tasting, and the deep fried kani in the Kalifornia roll is salty for me. We tried the risotto and italian rice not bad, but the latter didn 't differ much from plain rice topped with spices. Lastly, the pizza (we ordered Philly Cheesesteak and Rich King even the kids did not enjoy the pizzas the Rich King was overly topped with cabbages and although Philly Cheesesteak is okay, it is still plain tasting compared with popular pizza brands. The kids (aged 6 and 4 did not enjoy the food, we adults got full but not 100% happy. But, the staff were very efficient, friendly, gave fast service, and were very attentive. The ambiance was good, the toilet clean and fresh smelling. Serving time was around 10 15 mimnutes. The place also gives a view of the pool (canal and the gondolas passing by.
