The pointedly glazed baked salmon with crispy skin was delightful, as the pilger rice with which it was paired. the price was ok, the ambiente was good. the one I didn't appreciate was that I left the restaurant with a hauch of the kitchen smell on my hot. update august 2019: okay, I'm on 5 stars! the service is still very pleasant, and I have now tried several other dishes, especially the other salmon dish cooked in a kind of pärmentpapier that were all excellent!
Just right. not awesome. but one should try it one time.
The place is very nice but I can't help but to feel underwhelmed by the food. I thought it was going to be mind blowing good that I would want to go here again but nothing really stands out from the menu. The staff is helpful but I didn't see them smile. 3 5 stars
MEMORIES: I had high expectations for this restaurant since I first read about its opening in Manila a few years ago. Maybe it was all the hype I've been hearing about his reputation Chef Todd abroad or all the buzz on social media from the food bloggers, influencers and even local celebrities raving about how the food was so good, that got my hopes up too much. Don't get me wrong, the food was not really bad at all. But given the hype, I just wasn't blown over. And If ask if it is worth it? I would say that it is good that I have tried it at least once. However, for the price I paid and the taste of the food I tried, I don't think I would be back soon when I finally get back home.
