Thai Tahuna - Tahunanui

One of the best meal times I had in a long time! very friendly and efficient service, our meal times were huge portions and super tasty and we were spoiled for the choice as there was so much on the menu we wanted, and all affordable prices too. in any case they recommend this place.

Nice small Thai restaurant. Came here on a Friday evening around 7pm, wasn't busy at all. Ordered a Massaman curry with chicken and it was delicious and cooked well, I didn't have to wait for long either, around 5 10 minutes. Prices are moderate.

Had my favorite lemongrass dish. Fresh, crunchy veges, a bit more rustic than i had got used to when at the Invercargill restaurant but still tasty. Perfect little bottle of bubbles to go alongside made for a relaxed early evening meal out.

Peanut sauce was too sweet, should maybe note that on menu? Also the amount of roti was not enough for the amount of sauce... noodle dish was lacking flavour.. strange for Thai food which is meant to have alot of flavour... over all is good for your general take away for your general person... but if you want a good Thai experience best go somewhere else

Worst Thai food I've ever had, I don't say that flippantly or lightly. I ordered a Pad Thai takeaway, and the noodles were soooo bland with barely any vegetables. It was completely tasteless. The included lemon slice was also so under ripe that you couldn't squeeze it. The restaurant also smelled like a Beijing backalley incredibly musty and a horrid stench of cigarette smoke. The staff were Chinese, not Thai, so not surprising that this was the quality I got. I do give one star though because there were minor positives that the quantity was half decent (though it was expensive). Would never go back unfortunately. I'm surprised that this place could possibly be rated highly by anybody.
