The atmosphere was nostalgic and transported us back in time. The decor and ambiance were well-coordinated with the restaurant's name. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive.
We had our Christmas party at this restaurant. The pavilion had good air conditioning, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere. The meal included beef stew, stir-fried vermicelli noodles, roasted pig, rice, and fruit. It's a fantastic spot for hosting parties.
Our group met here for dinner and we ordered our food from their traditional menu. Their Filipino dishes were delicious. We enjoyed their freshly cooked crispy pata, sinigang salmon belly, eggplant torta, daing na boneless bangus, shrimp gambas and salmon sashimi. There was wide selection...of fruit drinks and dessert to include fried turon with langka, frozen fruit salad and banana split. Prices remain reasonable and service is good. Parking may be a problem but there is paid parking just across.
A friend who is a member of this club brought us here. We had a feast! Pata tim, dim sum, seafood noodles, kare kare, puto bumbong, bibingka and steamed fish. Everything was delicious!
Club Filipino is a sports center located in the heart of Greenhills in San Juan beside the Greenhills Shopping Center. It is the meeting place of many famous personalities with a roster of members belonging to the elite of the Filipino society; The club boasts...of various restaurants and function halls the most popular is Kalayaan HaKll where the former President Corazon Aquino took her oath as the First Lady President of the Republic of the Phiippines. My batchnmate in highschool celebrated her birthday that Sunday dinner with a big bash. than a 100 guests with plated food for dinner.. Dinner was capped by a beautiful program of songs, argentinian dancers, ballroom dancing poems and broadway hits. It was deja vu of an era past the 60's, 70's, 80's. Club Filipino is not only a sports club, restaurants but has emerged as a historical landmark. Paintings adorned its walls that is quite interesting since they depict country scenes and typical Filipino cultural practices.
