Marie’s Patisserie - Tallmadge

Just got home from a cupcake decorating class. Sooo much fun. Instructor was very kind and patient, and got excited to see us doing well. I walked in never having made frosting flowers and walked out with several good looking cupcakes! Highly recommend. Took home a dozen cupcakes, tips, bags of frosting and lots of knowledge.

So far not good at all I need a custom cake for next Monday which is a week in advanced and when I emailed the shop all I got back for a response was I 'm sorry but i wont be able to do it I emailed again asking why just so when i go somewhere else maybe i was wrong with what i needed and could fix my request even though edible images, cake sizing,flavors and time needed were all posted on the website so they shouldve been able to accommodateUPDATE: She messaged back saying she 'll be out of work for a few weeks which is of course fine but maybe post that somewhere on the website so you won 't have people bothering you or us thinking we found a place

We had a great time making Paczki today! A lot of laughs and a lot of good food!! She let us sample some of her delicious baked goods and it was by far the best I’ve ever tasted! We will definitely be going back! She was very nice and informative. Gave us a lot of tips and tricks when baking at home. Thanks again Marie!!

Ordered a chicken pot pie hot pocket type turnover dish. We have not tried it yet, but it looks delicious. I also bought 3 of the raspberry crumble cookies. I ate one and had to resist eating the other 2 immediately. It was absolutely delicious! The cookie had a thick, decadent, buttery shortbread type base with a raspberry jam. I could eat these everyday of the week with coffee. Of course I would probably weigh 500 lbs before too long. These cookies are EXCELLENT!

Do not recommend. Poor communication. We had a class scheduled in May. She called us an hour before and canceled due to the parking lot being re-done . We rescheduled. We had to canceled twice after that due to serious medical issues. Asked for a refund due to her originally canceling and she refused. Today was the rescheduled class that she messed up again. She double booked and our class was no longer a private class . On top of that she BURNT our crossiants we made. Not even an apology. Another class she didn 't show up to after we drove an hour to get there. And in between all this she messed up a cookie tray order we placed. We have been driving an hour to your shop to support a small business but today was the last straw. Unfortunately the 5 of us plus others that we 've brought to classes will have to take our business elsewhere. I attached pictures of our burnt and non-burnt crossiants.Don 't bother arguing with her. She 's always right
