Viceroy - Tameside

After many years, we visited this restaurant for the first time and had a pleasant experience. We were able to park for free. The service was good and the staff were polite. The menu had a good variety of options. The food was delicious, especially the lamb saag wala. The chutney tray was a bit stingy, but we could have asked for more pickles. Despite a few fruit flies buzzing around, we were able to cope. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

The service at this restaurant was extremely poor. We waited an hour and a half just to receive our starters, and the waiters were rude and unhelpful.

Had a chicken starter and a chicken main coz I love chicken. Was overall very nice indeed and the staff were sound.

The food was served relatively quickly, and in large portions, we were provided cartons to take it home as they couldn't be completed! The interior decor was excellent with its shades of purple white. This is one of many times have been to this restaurant, they cater for large groups, families and couples for all occasions. This is definitely worth going to if ever around the area. All staff were great, and there's a fully licenced large bar.

Got a delivery on New Year’s Day,it was inedible,ordered a king Prawn Pathia,just heat like some one had thrown hot curry powder on a mound of green and red peppers,I can honestly say it’s one of the worse curry’s I’ve ever had I just binned it….
