I would be happy to answer your question as to why I “only” gave it 3 stars. On November 23rd I and two friends had dinner with you for the first time. We ordered 1x Viennese style schnitzel, 1x tagliatelle with salmon and 1x tagliatelle with game ragout. The tagliatelle were more than just al dente, the salmon was no longer available, the ragout was unfortunately tough and the worst part was the second schnitzel because it was burnt on the bottom side. Even their service saw that and we got a free espresso. Nevertheless, I thought that everyone deserves a second chance and was there on December 3rd. with friends for a goose dinner at your place. The ambience was atmospheric, the table was lovingly set and the service was extremely friendly. The amount of food was more than sufficient, goose, red cabbage, two types of dumplings, spaetzle and sauce. But then there was a plate of Brussels sprouts that tasted completely overcooked and sour. We told the service and had it returned. That put a damper on the meal, because the red cabbage would have been enough and was very tasty. We also wished that the goose had been carved better because we had to fight a bit to get it off the bone. But I would like to emphasize that I wish the entire Ochsen crew all the best and much success in Tamm. One thing is clear: you make an effort and I always find the restaurant full. You are on the right path. Maybe there would be less on the menu, but something better. I like small cards, but good quality. All the best for the future !!
