Rox Rooftop - Tampa

Great place with beautiful scenery came there around 5 so we could catch the sunset our original reservations was for Friday, but they canceled do to the weather as we yesterday went the manager gave us a free bottle champagner and the drinks were good, they did not have a big menu just start, but it was really good

The drinks were good. the service was slow. we ordered the laundry board that was just in order. how rude the hostess was when we arrived. we had to sit outside and when we arrived, it was sprinkling. the two people who went up before us had no reservation and said they could go in and have a drink at the bar. we were told that, as our reservations were for outside and it was sprinkling that we were not allowed at all! not even a drink in it. her suggestion was to go all the way down and have a drink in the lobby. we made our way down and it wasn't really raining. she went up, and this time she sat us, and frankly I should have gone somewhere else. we will not be back.

We stayed for drinks on Thursday at sunset. very busy, but not overcrowded. drinking was really good. had no tapas style.

Had the best Thursday night in rox! hillary was absolutely amazing! her service was top notch and we were very impressed. drinks were amazing that we had three delicious margaritas. we had the brows and the charcuterie board both were phenomenal. view was also amazing!

I reserved a table for 8 people to celebrate birthday on the sunset, when arrived and asked for table a server pretty much walking and not giving any respect to to stop tells me you can sit anywhere... there was no tables available expect a small one on the opposite side of the sunset, the table that can't even fit 8 people and does not even have a reserved thing on it.... I made sure to repeat myself and say out loud that this is a party for 8 but nobody really cared. Neither bartender not 3 other servers that were there. Wow Service extremely slow and I inexperienced with hospitality. Poorly managed you can see that from the airplane... The ambiance needs some plants to kill monotony of the plane color and some music instead of hearing breaking glasses and most definitely a new management and the whole crew really. Such a nice spot that Tampa has and is not fully used.... what a pitty. Now I know why nobody goes there
