It was a busy night but the meals came quickly and the staff friendly and nothing seemed to be to much for them. The meals were delicious and everything was very fresh. We had a very enjoyable night and will be back.
Having eaten at Fish Fish Fish many times, and with many local friends who have done the same, I am very surprised to hear that someone has been ill following a meal there. We have always had a wonderful experience there, with wonderful seafood meals, that I would not hesitate to give 5 stars. It is a big call to blame a particular restaurant that you have eaten in only a few hours earlier for food poisoning. It is generally recognised that food poisoning can be the result of something you have eaten any time in the last 3 days, and upset stomachs can also be the result of a gastro infection, which is rife in NSW at present. I am NOT affiliated with Fish Fish Fish in any way, but food poisoning claims are sooooo easy to make and can harm a restaurant's reputation significantly. They should not be made without some form of absolute confirmation.
My husband and I went there for early dinner one night. We had seafood and fish. Later that night i had nausea and diarrhoea. My husband : the same . We will never go there again.
Don't be put off by the look of the cafe - the food was fantastic! Licensed only. We would eat here again in a blink; our meals were delicious, nicely presented and generously portioned. The fish is Australian; prawns surprisingly are imported (if you're fussy about eating Australian only shellfish). Found this hard to understand when fresh local prawns are available and could be featured on the menu. Would have liked a better choice of bubbles on the bar menu, as the one we had was pretty ordinary. All in all, we enjoyed our evening.
Didn't expect to find a restaurant like this in Taree. Service was good, and the place was packed. Had a sit-down meal here with family, and crumbed fish and chips and a paella between us. Paella was a very generous portion (and was delicious I'm told), and the other meals were tasty - but not particularly voluminous. Given the prices ($25 for fish and chips for example), was a bit disappointed on this basis. I'm told the take away option is excellent.
