I had a plain one my friend had a fruit one. May I suggest that you supply your hardware department with these, as you could knock nails in with them. Dry and old.
Popped in as between jobs on a Saturday early lunch time. My advice is don 't bother! Staff are very abrasive ignorant of customers. Had to queue for ages only one side of the tills working. I witnessed one of the female staff actually shout at someone who I couldn 't see 'just leave it there '. The staff do not inter act with customers at all. I felt like the customer was in the way. 'Speciality ' tea was a takeaway cup of warm water a tea bag beside it. I had a ham cheese panini. Ham was so light coloured I had to open both sides to check what it was. Best thing about it was the 4 ready salted crisps I got with it! Take my advice don 't bother! Expensive, rude, yucky food!
Its a real shame that Jacks Patch do not feel loyal customers do not deserve a warm heated cafe other otterys are warm inviting but in jacks patch its so cold so if you go you have to rush food as you would freeze i would say put the heating on larger menu and make it the jacks patch it used to be
If you go here you have to try the banana and biscoff cake and the cheese scones they are both absolutely delicious.
Many of us in the village are frequent visitors to Jack's Patch, which has always been a cherished spot. Regrettably, what was once a warm and inviting café now seems to have a staff that lacks friendliness and efficiency. As usual we queued endlessly and when we mentioned it we were given short shrift. It's disheartening to note that there was one individual, seemingly in a leadership role, who displayed a surprisingly abrasive demeanour. It's unfortunate that a couple of individuals can tarnish the reputation of our beloved garden centre. I notice there are lots of comments concerning this issue, hopefully Otters will take notice and do something about it.
