The pasta, tapas, maki, and sriracha chicken were all full of flavor. The roasted bread was also very tasty, as well as the biscuits. The teig drink satisfied my sweet tooth. Everything was delicious and the staff were courteous and really nice. We tried a lot from their menu and are excited to try the rest.
Bad culinary experience. we went there to celebrate the birthday of our sohne, as the place looks inviting and elegant. to our insult they did not let us feed into the yellow vogelcafé, even if it is not occupied. there is actually no one in.! Instead, they gave us a table outside their neighboring Japanese restaurants that feels a carinderia. note that their prices are not cheap. that really ruined our expected decent celebration. what is the use of their well-furnished restaurants if they don't want to eat their guests inside? over, they served us uncooked rice and they serve steak without knives! you have to ask another one. as if the steak is the tender that they no longer use a knife. but no, another failed expectation. her personal is very rigid and unwilling! we will never eat again in this restaurant!
The pasta I ordered was much too salty, but the most unacceptable is here: dirty glasses and friendly server. there is this grumpy food server a waitress in long-colored hair that looks too rude. She even forgot our main order and let us wait an hour since she forgot.
My three senior siblings and I visited this restaurant today, the 18th at 1 o'clock. We were greeted by a slightly overweight female staff member who seemed unfriendly. When she asked us to use a QR code, I explained that we were not familiar with the process and asked for clarification. Instead of helping us, she simply directed us to the entrance and told us to download the QR code. When I struggled to scan the code due to its unclear print, I asked for assistance again, but she dismissively told us to try again at the entrance. Frustrated, we left and looked for another restaurant. While the ambiance of the restaurant was nice, the staff's lack of helpfulness and understanding, particularly towards seniors, was disappointing. The restaurant may look good on the outside, but their service leaves much to be desired.
I booked a reservation for lunch today. we arrived there 15 minutes before 12:00PM. we immediately ordered several dishes from the menu. to wit: sinampalukang manok- the waiter said that it's good for 3 to 4 pax. when the dish arrived after an hour, what...we got was a big bowl of soup base with 3 pieces of small chicken parts which appears like garnish to the soup. the ginger was too overpowering that it should be renamed as ginger tamarind soup with chicken toppings. gising-gising- frankly, i've tasted better gising-gising from a carinderia. the dish was named as such because it's supposed to be spicy. what we got was sigarillas cooked in sweet coconut milk. (ho-hum) wagyu brisket- this is one of the priciest dish on their (about 600.00 if memory serves)again, the serving portion was too pricey for a few thin slices of wagyu??? that does not even taste like real wagyu at all. believe me, i know how wagyu beef taste. nachos with cheese and beef bits- nothing special at all and frankly i've tasted better. I tried to book with 3 restaurants today. unfortunately, yellow bird was the only one which responded to my text message. what was the biggest letdown apart from the food that i ordered was being made to wait for 1 whole hour before the dishes came out of the kitchen. i understand that there were people coming in non-stop but seriously, waiting for one hour for 3 simple dishes that do not even taste special is just unacceptable. the resto was obviously undermanned. you would need to stand up and approach them at the counter to request for something. the serving staff at the very least should have been trained to inform the diners that serving time could take that long so that we could have left and eaten some place else. one of the worst dining experiences i've ever had.
