High Ground Brewing - Terra Alta

This is a great brewery. It works in collaboration with other local businesses from food trucks to the local animal shelter for charity events. We visited a couple of times and our experience has been only positive. From time to time, they have live music too. While ciders that they carry are not my cup of tea, we enjoyed beers and mead. Hot dogs were also good. We cannot wait to take our friends to hang out here.

I came to this brewery for the first time in 2019 after white water rafting with friends in the area. When we finally went rafting again since Covid we came back. The brewery has a friendly atmosphere with a decent inside space and a lot of outdoor space. I love that people can bring their dogs and there was live music. The food came from a good truck set up and the bar handled the beers. I love all the reference based beers, my favorite being the Super Soft Birthday which I was able to get in a 4 pack to take back to the house. The bartenders were friendly and gave great recommendations based on what people were into. Overall it's a great experience.

Stopped in for the first time a few weeks ago. Nice place and great beers. They have sours which I am fond of. They have a new one that just came out that Im wanting to try. Would be a nice place to sit outside in warmer weather. Ill stop in every time I'm in the area.

Such an awesome place! The beers were fantastic, our group tried 8 different beers and every single one was amazing! The food was great, we loved the pepperoni roll-hotdog! Such a cool venue with super kind staff. If you're in Preston County make sure you stop by!

Great experience! Very welcoming to an out of town guest. The bartender was super friendly and we chatted about all sorts of topics. Extremely solid beer offerings with numerous styles to choose from. They had a good number of beers available pre-caned for take away. I would definitely recommend stopping through!
